How to keep your face looking fresh out of lockdown


Finally, Boris is letting us out, we have been cooped up in the house months on end but the end is in sight. We are SUPER excited!! We all want to get out and play but we have to make sure we're ready and more importantly, we have to make sure our SKIN is ready. Staying indoors all day can wreak havoc on our skin, even the central heating we have been blazing through this unusually cold winter can sap out every bit of moisture that is clinging on for dear life. As spring is on the horizon, it's time to step up your skincare game and stay looking fresh as the countdown begins! We share our beauty tips to get your glow on and come out of lockdown with a bang.



1. Keep your face moisturized!

Organic, natural, and eco-friendly are all terms that have become familiar to many of us. Incorporating natural and organic products possess many added benefits that can make your skin and hair flourish. As we like to read the small print when it comes to important documents, we must read what goes on our skin and hair. Get in the habit of reading the label and checking what ingredients are in the products. This will help you tomake more informed choices about what you put on to your skin.





5. Exfoliation is key


Exfoliation removes the barrier of dead skin cells clogging the skin and uncovers new skin when done properly. The regimen can leave your skin looking brighter and smoother, exfoliating is a popular skincare step due to its many positive benefits. However, over exfoliating can cause issues when used excessively, which can lead to skin irritation and inflammation. The best time to exfoliate is in the morning as it is a great time for getting rid of those dead skin cells and as our skin repairs itself over night. You can even DIY and make your own scrub if you are feeling adventurous, using common household item such as salt or sugar.
